FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I install it?

On Android, download the APK, open it and allow installs from your browser or file manager when asked. The iOS build is an IPA rather than an App Store release, so install it with a sideloading tool such as AltStore or Sideloadly using your Apple ID. The install guide walks through it step by step.

Does PDFlex upload my files?

No. Conversion, merging, splitting and compression all run on your device. The app doesn’t send your documents to any server.

What can I do with it?

Convert photos to PDF with custom page size, orientation and margins; merge several PDFs; split a PDF to extract pages; and compress a PDF with an image-quality setting.

Will compression make my document unreadable?

You choose the quality percentage, so you decide the balance between file size and clarity. Lower it for tiny files, raise it for sharper pages.

How do I share the result?

Use the native iOS or Android share sheet, or save it to the Files app. Every PDF you create is also kept in the built-in file manager.

Which phones does it run on?

iOS and Android. It’s built with Flutter and has a dark OLED theme as well as a light one.

Is the source available?

Yes. PDFlex is released under the MIT license at github.com/mohin7/image-to-pdf.
